Acuity opened its doors in 2019. But our story began long before then. Discover how Acuity first came to be — and how we grew into one of Australia’s top project management teams, working across the country.

Our story of chemistry and re-connection

We first came together for our shared expertise in, and passion for, the construction industry. But we stayed together for an entirely different reason.

Early 2000s

Chemistry ignited

It was the early 2000s at Paragon Project Management when many of us first met and worked together. And our unique chemistry was impossible to deny. Together, we delivered some of Australia's most iconic integrated development projects — projects that we are still just as proud of today. But we shared more than a love for our work. We shared a sense of disappointment and disillusionment with the industry. And we couldn't help but wonder: do things really have to be this way?

2015

Hard goodbyes

Following the acquisition of Paragon Project Management, our special group of colleagues — turned friends — began to part ways. We slowly and surely dispersed across the country, building our careers in different firms and across diverse development projects. But we never fell out of touch. And we never stopped wondering about the possibilities.

2019

Bringing the band back together

On 1 July 2019, our professional dream turned into reality. Almost two decades after our first meeting, we formally reunited under our own brand — the Acuity brand.

Why the name Acuity? Because our vision was clear: to create a truly unique workplace culture. One that breaks the industry mould. One where integrity, accountability — and heart — sit at the fore.

Queensland (2020)

Expanding north

In 2020, Acuity's next chapter began in Queensland. As our client base and project portfolio continued to grow, establishing a Brisbane presence was a natural step in our national journey. The same values that shaped Acuity from day one travelled north with us, strengthening our ability to support clients locally while maintaining the culture and standards that set us apart.

Victoria (2023)

Heading south

In 2023, Acuity expanded into Victoria, opening our Melbourne office and further strengthening our national footprint. The move brought together exceptional local talent with the culture, energy and client-first mindset that defines Acuity, enabling us to support a growing Victorian client base while remaining true to who we are.

United and thriving

Under the leadership of Adam Currall, we are now a growing team of meticulously selected people working across the country.

United in our commitment to achieving amazing client outcomes, we have delivered some of Australia's most exemplary development projects.
